Networking, Leadership and Alpha Phi
Members of Alpha Phi recognize the importance of balancing their priorities. While excelling in academics, the women also involve themselves in activities that will help shape their future success. Both during the school year and summer the chapter members participate in internships and jobs, volunteering, study abroad, and clubs and organizations outside of Alpha Phi. In fact, many members go on to graduate school, law school, and medical school after MSU.
Often times, success outside of academics depends immensely on who you know. Furthermore, being an Alpha Phi provides the benefit of establishing and maintaining connections for the world beyond college. For example, as a result of networking with Alpha Phi alumnae, each summer Alpha Phis find themselves interning across the country at PR firms in L.A., fashion marketing in New York and Chicago, Fortune 500 companies, and many other industries.
